ANCESTRALE
Ancestrale is a work that combines immersive video installation and photography.
Built from fragments of the lives of trans women from Santa Cruz, Bolivia, the piece proposes a journey through memories, scenes, and moments that appear as open windows into the experience of existing.
It does not present a linear story or a chronological narrative.
The viewer does not observe a story; they move through it.
Childhood, family, transition, fear, strength, and everyday life coexist without hierarchy, as happens when a person recalls their own life. The work avoids dramatization and does not seek to explain identities; it presents real lives, complex and deeply human.
