CARNALE

“Carnale” was born from the encounter with artist Irene Cases. Her sculptural works in aluminum and textile are transformed into wearables designed to merge with the thirteen protagonists of the project. Sculpture ceases to be an object and becomes presence: it rests on the body, moves through it, accompanies it.

“Carnale” is our shell.

The appearance we have been given: bodies of tissue and bone, shaped by time and its transformations.

The project focuses on women’s bodies, bringing forward their differences, particularities, and uniqueness. It celebrates what should never be judged, abused, or reduced to taboo, nor shaped by fragile trends or imposed norms.

Through textures and colors that evoke the flesh, the work engages the viewer’s senses and speaks of support, alliance, and shared strength.
